So seeing what happened with Sam Wilson at the end of the first episode of FATWS, I want to draw attention back to this moment from the trailer:

Back when this trailer first premiered, I didn’t really think much of it. It was just Captain America being cheered on by the public.
Now that John Walker has been officially introduced, this image just feels…disgusting, on a subtle level. It’s a predominantly black marching band/cheerleading squad celebrating John Walker, a white man who stole the Captain America mantle from Sam Wilson, a black man who earned the shield from the original Cap. Black performers are being made to celebrate a white man who stole another black man’s rightful legacy. Everything about this moment just feels gross, which I’m 100% pretty sure is intentional.
I knew the series would focus on what it’s like for Sam to be a black Captain America, representing a country that doesn’t want him representing them, but it’s still tough to stomach.
Mack and Elena adopted Flint
Mack and Daisy are Alya’s godparents
and you can’t convince me otherwise
This show started off with everyone always asking for avengers crossovers and ended with the writers saying “screw mcu continuity they don’t care about us so we’re ignoring the snap and doing a time travel storyline that’s infinitely better” and everyone was like yup that works just the growth of this show over the years is amazing
bro Agents of SHIELD literally took the whole “marriage ruins everything” tv trope, turned it, and made sure that marriage will not only hold fitzsimmons’ love for all eternity, but the rest of the universe’s fucking timelines as well
that’s some next level shit right there
